Happy New Year.....

....so I am a little late....LOL! I just cannot believe that we are already 3 weeks into 2011....Maybe coz the last 3 weeks have been a whirl wind...busy busy busy. I have been trying to set myself some better work habits while the kids are on holidays....HOPING that when they do go back the discipline will continue.

So what I have been doing?? Well I FINALLY finished my new pattern.....and to celebrate that and the new year.....LETS HAVE A GIVE AWAY........!!!! YAY!!!!

The Allsorts Quilt is made from 9 FQ's, can be cut in 15 min, and stitched up in just a couple of hours. Quilt it yourself and you can pretty much have it finished in a day. Finished size is 120cm (47") x 150cm (59")

I have 4 up for grabs! It is 10.30pm Friday 21st lets leave it open for a full 7 days. So leave a comment to enter the draw before 10.30pm Friday the 28th of Jan (A.D.S.T.)

Good luck......

PS I have decided to crank it up a bit....there will be 4 patterns BUT the first pattern will come with a lovely pack of 9 Robyn Pandolph FQ from the Somerset Cottage collection. (Pink, soft green & lemon)

Wow I would love one of these but wouldn't one of these be great to send off to Wilma for her Carisbrook flood quilt collection. So if I'm lucky enough that is where it will go.

Hi Linda, thank you for the chance to win your give away. I have millions of FQ's and would love to use some of them up. so many patterns need miles of fabric, I like FQ quilts and the scrappy look. Karen S

What a great pattern, it is hard to find quilts that are quick to make and don't cost the earth, in the right fabrics these would make great gifts for those special people who are just impossible to buy for :)

Whao! I been wondering how to use my FQ, I think this would help. Pom Pom du Paris her comes your chance..!I hear you with the (not muche ME time) I got the same dilema, mine works 4 weeks and come backs for 2, just in time to catch up with any other work around the house, so the chouffering still always mine. I don't gain weight, I loose it. Not a good thing either. Anyways nice to find someone like me.

I have a Pom Pom du paris FQ set that its just waiting. I have been reading you and we are on the same boat my husband works away also, and its not much ME time, I also have trouble with weight, except I loose not gaing still a problem do, before he started working away five years ago I was on a size 8 almost 10, now I'm between 4 and 6 so I still think its not great. So even if it isn't a good thing at least we are kind of the same. Hugs: Ruth.

Your quilts are lovely, I love how different they both look, one so feminine and one so wild and funky, I would love to use this pattern for the quilts I make at our craft group - they go to Bear cottage in Sydney. I often have all sorts of colours and this would be a perfect pattern.
Oh also love the tim tam slam, isn't Graham Norton a hoot.

Just what I need for the 2 crates of fat quarters I have, this is my year of stash busting I even resisted the urge to do the Shop hop here in Melbourne when I told DH I wasn't going he felt my forehead to make sure I wasn't running a temperature. Have 2 babies quilts to make so far this year and 2 others for nearly teenagers without what I would like to do for myself like a Baltimore.

I really like this pattern. It would be good for many different things but also for theme/novelty fabrics, such as my collection f Alaskan fabrics that I don't necessarily want to cut "in to" that much but want to feature. Other fabric collections that I have, such as my sea/ocean life fabrics would look well in a quilt like this and also my teddy bear fabric collection. In fact I have quite a few fabric collections that would suit this pattern. Thanks for the chance to win a pattern - much appeciated!
